R: MNIO stands for Main Input Output Board. It collects the shaft switch, door, safety chain and car status signals and passes them to the MNCU main control board. The board sits in the control panel and is one of the first parts to check when a lift reports false faults.

Q2: What is the difference between MNIO-21A, MNIO-2A and MNIO-31A?

R: They are versions of the same MNIO family. TKE documentation lists the 21A and 31A versions for lifts fitted with an automatic rescue device. Please read the marking on your old board before ordering, because the versions are not interchangeable without checking.
