Perguntas frequentes
Q1: What does “relief” mean on this button?
R: Relief means the symbol stands proud of the button face instead of sitting flat under a film. Kone’s own description calls it a relief pressel in metal, and the Spanish catalogue text adds sin cubierta, without a cover, so the raised metal face is the part the passenger touches. That raised face is what makes the button readable by touch, which matters on accessible and public installations.
Q2: How is it different from KM474547G01?
R: Both are LCS M10 landing call buttons on 24 V DC for the same two signalisation families, and they take the same base plates. The difference is the face: G01 is the film pressel, a flat face under film, and G02 is the metal relief pressel with the symbol standing out. They are not interchangeable just because the number is one digit apart: match the face you are replacing and the panel it sits in.
Q3: Is this the alarm button?
R: No, Kone catalogues it as a floor button, and the Spanish, Danish and Finnish descriptions all name the floor or landing. Panels that carry an alarm button use a separate part with its own marking, and on older Novel panels the alarm button often sits in a different row. Send us a photo of the panel and we will identify the alarm button separately if that is what you need.
Q4: What supply does it need, and what colour is the light?
R: The catalogue rating is 24 V DC, and one of Kone’s own language descriptions specifies a red LED behind the face. If your installation runs at another voltage, the same family has the LCS-M10 PE version rated 24/60 V, part KM366645G03. Always read the voltage marked inside the panel before fitting a replacement.
Q5: Which panels does it fit?
R: Kone files it under SIGNO, which covers Novel and Cecer panels and the Belgian model signalisation, and under SIGT10 for the 100-series. These are older families, so the button is mostly used for maintenance and modernisation rather than new lifts. The panel faceplate is the quickest way to tell which family you have.
Q6: What exactly is supplied, and what do you need from me?
R: The button element is supplied on its own; the base plate, the frame and the faceplate are separate items. Count one unit per direction on each landing, and order the base at the same time if the old one is cracked or discoloured. Send us a photo of the old button from the front and the back, plus the panel it came from.
