الأسئلة الشائعة
Q1: What is this fan for?
ج: It is the external cooling fan of the MR17 hoisting machine, mounted on the machine itself to blow air over the motor body. Kone’s own parts library names it FAN, EXTERNAL MR17, and its French entry reads external ventilator of the MR17 winch. It is not a car fan, so it is not interchangeable with the fans inside the cabin.
Q2: What does MR17 mean?
ج: MR17 is Kone’s component family code, and Kone defines it as geared machinery with 175 mm centre distance between the worm and the worm wheel. That is how you tell whether this fan belongs to your machine: read the machine plate, not the lift model. If the plate shows another MR size, the fan is a different item and we will quote the matching one.
Q3: What voltage and airflow does it have?
ج: Kone does not publish the electrical data on its public parts page; what it does list is the 3.5 kg gross weight and the motor blower group. The rating is printed on the fan motor label, and two fans of the same MR17 machine can be built for different site voltages. Send us a photo of that label and we will confirm the version we supply against it.
Q4: The machine gets hot and trips on overload. Is the fan the cause?
ج: Check the fan before you touch the machine windings. If the blades turn freely by hand but the fan does not spin up when the machine runs, the fan motor or its supply is the fault; if the blades are stiff or noisy, the bearings are gone. With the fan running and the machine still overheating, the cause is elsewhere, usually load or brake drag.
Q5: Can I fit a car fan instead?
ج: No. The car fans in the list above are built into the cabin ceiling or the car panel and are sized for air circulation, not for cooling a machine motor. The machine fan has to sit on the MR17 housing with the right mounting and the right cable route. Fit the part the machine was built with, and use the car fans only for their own job.
Q6: What should I send before ordering?
ج: A photo of the old fan, showing the motor label with the voltage and the part number, plus a photo of the machine plate. Tell us the machine type and, if you have it, the lift’s contract or order number. With those we confirm the fan version and the mounting before dispatch.
