Часто задаваемые вопросы
Q1: What exactly does the 510 clean?
A: It cleans the step treads of an escalator or moving walk with two rotating spiral brushes. The hand wand that comes with it is used on the risers, the step edges and the corners the brush head cannot reach. It is a step and riser cleaner, not a handrail or balustrade polisher.
Q2: How is the machine used on site?
A: Place it on the steps at the top of the escalator with the brush head on the treads, then set the pressure gauge into the green band. Switch on the light, the suction and the spray, and let the running escalator carry the machine down while the head cleans the steps. One full loop cleans the run; make the last loop with the spray switched off so the suction picks up the remaining water.
Q3: How long does the 32 L tank last?
A: The clean water tank holds 32 litres, and consumption depends on how dirty the steps are, how wide the escalator is and how much water the wand uses. In practice the operator refills between runs rather than mid-run, and the tank is filled from a bucket or a tap on the landing. Tell us your escalator rise and step width and we will advise how to plan the loop.
Q4: What is the pressure gauge for?
A: The gauge is marked with light, good and heavy bands, and the needle must stay in the green band while the brushes are down. On the machine in our video the needle sits at about 2, which is the normal working point. A reading in the red band means the head is pressed too hard against the steps, which overloads the brushes and strains the machine.
Q5: Do the steps stay wet after cleaning?
A: The dirty water is drawn back into the machine through the head as it cleans, and a sight tube on the body shows the water being recovered. The final loop is done with the spray off so the suction can dry the treads. If the treads are still wet, the suction is not working: check the recovery tank level and the hose couplings first.
Q6: What is included, and what do you need from me?
A: The machine is supplied with the brush pair, the hand extraction wand and the hose set, on a pallet for shipping. Please tell us your site voltage and plug type, and the step width of your escalators, so we confirm the correct version before dispatch. We also stock the brushes, wands, hoses and valves as spare parts.
