よくある質問
Q1: What does the GBA26800LC2 board do?
A: It is the GECB-EN control board of the Otis controller cabinet, in the LC2 version. It handles the discrete inputs and outputs of the lift, the safety chain, door bypass, EPO and the TUEV switches. It provides the functions of the earlier TCBC board, GDA26800KA.
Q2: What is the difference between LC1, LC2, LC3 and LC5?
A: The seven GECB-EN versions are built for different applications, not for different lifts. LC1 is the complete version with three series line terminals. LC2 has door bypass, EPO, TUEV switches and one series line terminal. LC3 has no door bypass and no TUEV switches, and LC4 has no door bypass and no EPO. LC5 is the LC2 layout with different fuses for F1 and F2, so the two are not interchangeable on the fuse rating alone.
Q3: Is GAA26800LC2 or GCA26800LC2 the same board?
A: They belong to the same GECB-EN family but carry different assembly numbers, and the prefix is not a decoration. The Otis manual defines the seven versions as GBA26800LC1 to LC7, while the service tool documentation also refers to GCA26800LC as GECB-EN. Please read the full assembly number from your old board instead of comparing only the suffix, and send us a photo of the label.
Q4: I fitted a new board and the lift still does not run. Why?
A: The GECB-EN has no processor and no software of its own. All the control software and the parameters are held on the GECB-CP central memory board, AAA26800AML, which is a separate board. The CP board has to be moved over from the old unit or supplied with the correct software, otherwise the lift will not start.
Q5: Which Otis systems use this board?
A: It is used on Otis Gen2 and other GCS controllers of the GCS222 generation, and on ACD2 MRL systems with the SPBC drive panel. The board works with the SPBC through the PX5 connector and with the drive through the CAN interface on PX1. A photo of the cabinet and the board label is the fastest way to confirm the match.
Q6: What should be checked before fitting the board?
A: Check the six fuses on the board and the supply first, because a blown fuse or a short in the safety chain will damage a new board. The board is rated for a maximum of 125 V AC on the safety chain, and it is mounted on 16 insulated fixings. Please tell us the fault history and send photos, since several faults look the same from the controller.
