الأسئلة الشائعة
Q1: Is this the complete landing panel or just the button?
ج: It is the button unit only. Kone sells it as a push button unit with a film face, and it is the part that moves and makes contact behind the faceplate of the panel. The base plate, the faceplate, the frame and the panel box are separate items, which is why the same part number appears on panels that look completely different.
Q2: Is it a landing button or a car button?
ج: Kone catalogues it as a landing call button, and the French, Spanish and Chinese descriptions all name the floor or hall call. The same element is also used in the car panel of Novel cars, so it can turn up in both places on one installation. Tell us which panel it came from and we will confirm before dispatch.
Q3: What supply does it need?
ج: The catalogue states 24 V DC, and the illumination is built into the unit. If your installation runs at another voltage, the same family includes the LCS-M10 PE version rated 24/60 V, part KM366645G03. Do not substitute one for the other on a live panel without checking the supply first.
Q4: Which panels does it fit?
ج: Kone files it under two signalisation families: SIGNO, which covers Novel and Cecer panels and the Belgian model signalisation, and SIGT10, which covers the 100-series. Both are older families, so this button is mostly used on maintenance and modernisation work rather than new installations. A photo of your panel faceplate is the quickest way to confirm the family.
Q5: How many do we need to order?
ج: One unit for each direction on each landing, so a floor with up and down arrows takes two. On a group of lifts, each lift has its own landing panels and its own buttons. Order the base plates at the same time if the existing bases are discoloured or cracked, as the element alone will not fix a damaged base.
Q6: What do you need from me before dispatch?
ج: A photo of the old button, front and back, and a photo of the panel it sits in. Tell us the panel series if it is printed inside the panel, and confirm the supply voltage marked on the panel. With that we can match the element and the correct base colour for your installation.
