الأسئلة الشائعة
Q1: What does the EXT2 board actually do?
ج: It is the extension board for the car operating panel, and Orona’s own board list describes it as the car panel extension for calls and special car functions. It reads the button presses on the panel, registers the car calls and passes them to the main controller over the cabin bus. It also carries the extra cabin functions grouped on that panel, which is why a fault here shows up as buttons that stop responding rather than as a dead lift.
Q2: Is 5124532 the main controller board?
ج: No, it is an extension board. The base board of the ARCA 3 cabinet is the PBCM, part 5124501, and the main control and memorised parameters sit with the CPU side of the system. This board only extends the car panel I/O and reports over the bus, so replacing it will not restore a lost configuration.
Q3: The car ignores the inside buttons, then works again after a power cycle. Is that this board?
ج: That is the exact symptom Orona documents for this board, and their procedure is specific. Enter the Cabin Extensions/Variables menu and read the software version of EXT2: if it is lower than h32, the board has to be replaced, and that version has been issued since about August 2016. If the board already carries h32 or later, keep the board and load the newer manoeuvre version instead.
Q4: Does 5124532 replace 5124332, or fit ARCA 1 and ARCA 2 as well?
ج: 5124332 is the EXT2 number of the ARCA II generation, and 5124532 is the current number used in the ARCA III lists. Several distributors list 5124532 across ARCA 1, 2 and 3, which suggests the current board covers the older cabinets, but Orona’s own parts list ties it to ARCA 3. Cabinets differ in wiring and in board software, so confirm the cabinet generation and the marking on the old board before you order.
Q5: Which number should I quote?
ج: 5124532 is the Orona part number, and it is also written as 5124532-1, EXT2 and EXT 2. The number 9944022 that appears on some websites is a distributor’s own catalogue code and not an Orona number, so do not order by it. Send us the marking printed on your old board as well, because the same cabinet can carry a different extension board revision.
Q6: What do you need from me before dispatch?
ج: Please tell us the ARCA generation of the cabinet, the marking on the board you are replacing, and the software version if the lift still runs far enough to read it. A photo of the old board, front and connectors, is the fastest way to confirm the match. We supply the board on its own; panel plates, buttons and the connecting cables are separate items.
