Q1: What is the MKF71ASAKX switch used for?
ج: It is a slot type switch used at the door zone and the leveling position of the lift. A steel vane mounted in the shaft passes through the slot of the switch and operates it. The signal is used by the controller for door zone and leveling detection.
Q2: Is it a magnetic switch? What operates it?
ج: It is a reed switch, and it is sold as a magnetic switch, but it is not operated by a magnet. A ferromagnetic steel vane, for example S235, is passed through the slot to operate it. This is why a magnet held near the switch may not trigger it, and why it can be mounted directly on metal.
Q3: What are the electrical ratings of this switch?
ج: The SECATEC data sheet gives a normally open contact, 40 W/VA switching capacity, 230 V AC/DC and 1000 mA maximum. Switch-on time is 4.0 ms and switch-off time is 0.15 ms, with IP67 protection. The TKE manual quotes 250 V and 150 µs for the same part.
Q4: What does the X at the end of MKF71ASAKX mean?
ج: MKF71ASAK is the base SECATEC type, and the X marks the customer-specific version supplied under the TKE number. The versions differ mainly in cable length and connector. Please compare your old switch with the drawing before ordering.
Q5: Which cable length do I need?
ج: Several cable lengths are in the market for this switch, including 3.4 m and 4.8 m. The standard SECATEC version comes with a 1 m cable, and longer cables are made to order. Please measure the cable on your old switch, or tell us the panel position, so we can supply the right length.
Q6: Do you supply other TKE and SECATEC switches?
ج: Yes, we supply the MKF71 and MKF30 slot type switches, including the changeover and inductive versions. Please send us the model number or a photo of the part you need, and our team will confirm availability and the correct match.
